2019: Spring workshop (Limoges, 5 June 2019)

The 2019 Spring Workshop of the Financial Intermediation Network of European Studies (FINEST) will be held at the LAPE, Université de Limoges, on Wednesday 5 June 2019.

FINEST workshops are small meetings with an in-depth discussion (from top scholars) of a limited number of high quality papers with the aim of fostering discussion among academics, policymakers, and practitioners about the evolving challengers facing banks. In the 2019 Spring Workshop, we expect to accept for presentation up to six full papers and six short presentations in the PhD/Young Scholar sessions. PhD/Young Scholar sessions with short presentations (5 minutes) are aimed for Junior Researchers who are in their last year of PhD program or Scholars who have recently (last 3 years) acquired their PhD degree.

Preferred Topics: Bank Risk and Regulatory Implications (Basel III and IV, Bank Supervision, Enforcement), Financial Stability, Systemic Risk, Liquidity Risk, Capital and Liquidity, Failure Resolution and Total Loss Absorbing Capacities, Capital Structure, Ownership Structure and Governance in Banking (Risk and Efficiency Implications), Bank Market Structure, Competition, and Lending Behavior.

Submissions (completed papers) should be sent in pdf format as a single file to LAPE-FinestWorkshop2019@unilim.fr. Please indicate if you are submitting for the regular sessions or the PhD/Young scholar sessions or both.
